Built right. Priced before we start. General contractor in Las Cruces.

Room additions, kitchen and bath remodels, driveways, decks and patio covers. One licensed crew from permit to cleanup, and a written price before anyone picks up a hammer.

I'm Ray. I own the company and I run every job. You get me, not whoever was free that morning.

What we build

Homes and small businesses across Las Cruces and Doña Ana County. One licensed crew for the whole job, so nothing falls between trades.

Additions

Room additions and garages

Extra bedrooms, casitas, garages and carports: footings, framing, roof and the finish work, with the permits pulled and every inspection passed.

Remodels

Kitchen and bath remodels

New layouts, cabinets, tile and fixtures. We plan it with you, order the materials, and keep the rest of the house livable while we work.

Concrete

Driveways, patios and slabs

Driveways, patios, RV pads and walks on a compacted base with a rebar grid. Priced online, to the square foot. Price your concrete

Decks

Decks and patio covers

Wood or composite decks, and wood or steel covers over a patio, built for the sun and the spring wind here. Price a deck or cover

Who actually shows up

A remodel or an addition is a big thing to let someone do to your home. When you book with us, I'm the one who comes out to measure, and I'm on site while the work gets done.

No salesman, no rotating subcontractors you've never met. We walk the job with you first, put the price and the schedule in writing, pull the permits, and then get to work.

Caliche moves. What we build on it shouldn't.

The ground around Las Cruces is full of caliche: hard when it's dry, and it shifts when it gets wet. Footings and slabs poured straight on it crack and settle, usually within a few years.

So every footing, foundation and slab we pour sits on compacted base, with steel set in the middle of the concrete, not lying in the dirt underneath. It's more work on day one, and it's why the job still looks right in year ten.

How a job runs

A driveway takes two to three days. An addition takes a few months. Either way, you know the price and the schedule before we start.

  1. Call, book, or work out your price

Concrete, decks and repairs have prices online. Additions and remodels get a free visit and a written quote.

  2. We measure and walk it with you

We check the site, talk through the plan, and put the price and the schedule in writing.

  3. Permits and materials

We pull the permits, order the materials and set a start date. You see every materials invoice.

  4. We build it

One crew, start to finish, with every inspection booked and passed. You get an update at the end of each week.

  5. Walk-through, then pay

We walk the finished job with you and fix anything on the list. The last payment is due once you're happy with it.

Already booked? Here's how to get ready, and how to look after new work afterwards.

What goes into it

Every material we use is listed, with what it's for. Nothing gets swapped for something cheaper once the price is agreed.

  • 4,000 PSI ready-mix

The strong mix. Stands up to cars, trucks and our freeze-thaw nights without scaling.

  • Composite deck boards

Wood fibers and plastic, capped against fading. No sanding or sealing, and no splinters.

  • Metal roof panels, 26 gauge

Ribbed steel panels with a baked-on finish that reflects the sun. Quiet, light and good for forty years.

Where we work

Las Cruces and the surrounding valley. If you're outside this list, call anyway and we'll tell you honestly whether the drive works.
