Pick a color look

Every site I build gets colors matched to the business's own video. These ready-made looks were made the same way, from a video or a picture, plus one plain white look. Pick one to see this whole site in it on your screen, until you close the tab. The Style button at the top does the same on every page.

Try a font or a layout

Each link opens the home page with that choice. It stays while you click around, until you close the tab.

Font

  • Fraunces A warm, rounded serif. This site's font.
  • Archivo Clean and modern, like my carpet cleaning site.
  • Oswald Tall, bold capitals, like a sign or a menu board.
  • Playfair Display Elegant, high-contrast serif, like a fine restaurant menu or a boutique.
  • Space Grotesk Modern and a little techy, with clean reading text.
  • Bricolage Grotesque Bold and full of character, for a business that wants to stand out.
  • Nunito Round and friendly, all the way through. Good for kids, pets and cafes.
  • Josefin Sans Vintage capitals with an art deco feel.
  • Caveat Handwritten headings, like a chalkboard sign. Bakeries, food trucks, crafts.

Layout

  • Seamless Soft and open: centered headings, sections that fade into each other, rounded floating cards and round buttons. This site's layout.
  • Normal Structured and crisp: headings with a short color bar, clean lines between sections, square cards and buttons, and a mountain ridge under the top, like my carpet cleaning site.

Text

  • Black text Light pages with black text, and the dark top and bands. This site's setting.
  • White text Dark pages with white text everywhere, in the same colors.

Motion, from the video

  • Keyhole The video opens from a keyhole, then plays forward and back as you scroll.
  • Scene change The video behind the whole site melts into a new scene and color at each section.
  • Color flow A soft shape behind the page changes shape and color section by section, in the video's colors from start to end.
  • No motion style The video plays at the top only. This site's setting.
