What this site aims for
This site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What has been done
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, and you can always see where you are on the page.
- The price calculators announce the new total to screen readers as it changes, and their tabs work with the arrow keys.
- Every form field has a visible label, and mistakes are explained in words next to the field.
- Photos have text descriptions, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Text is dark enough against its background to meet the WCAG AA contrast minimum. The site's build checks this for every color.
- Pages are organized with headings and labelled sections, so screen reader users can jump straight to what they need.
- There are no pop-ups and no time limits. The video at the top of the home page has no sound, has a Pause button, and doesn't play at all if your device asks for reduced motion; you see a still picture instead. Animations stop if your device asks for reduced motion.
- Every price and every form also works without JavaScript. The price list is on the Prices page.
